TECHNICAL DATASHEET
VitaTex is a manufacturer of high-quality polypropylene spunbond nonwoven products. Our products are tough and durable fabrics packaged to withstand normal wear and tear of shipping and handling. To ensure fabric quality and physical properties are maintained, the product needs to be handled with care and stored correctly. The below storage and handling guidelines should assist in ensuring product quality is maintained.
VitaSpun rolls are packed in a protective plastic and inspected before leaving our factory.
Avoid contact with contaminants such as oil grease and water. We recommend that VitaSpun rolls be stored indoors, under proper cover to protect from weather, direct/indirect sunlight, and contamination, and in a climate-controlled area where possible. The rolls should not be unwrapped until needed for its required/intended purpose. We do not recommend storing the product vertically for long periods of time. Rolls should be stored horizontally on a solid floor or suitable storage rack and can be stacked on top of other to a safe and reasonable height, as long as bottom rolls are secured in a manner that prevents the bottom rolls from rolling. It is stressed that storage in direct and even indirect sunlight will deteriorate the physical properties over time even if UV additives are added.
